History of the Faculty of Education

Modern societies owe their progress in various fields to a dynamic and youthful workforce, nurtured through academic institutions, particularly universities and higher education centers. These institutions, by providing educational, research, and development programs, serve as the main drivers of change and advancement in society. The history of successful nations in science and technology demonstrates that all scientific and developmental achievements stem from careful and strategic planning within these academic institutions.

The Faculty of Education at Nimruz University was established in 1396 Solar Hijri (2017/2018) with the founding of the university. The faculty initially launched various departments in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

In 1398 Solar Hijri (2019/2020), in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, departments of Pashto Language and Literature and Dari Language and Literature were added to the faculty.

Through structured and systematic academic collaboration with other university offices, faculties of education across the country, and close cooperation with local communities, the Faculty of Education has taken effective steps toward enhancing the academic and educational standards of Nimruz Province and contributing to the overall scientific development of the country.
