A seminar on the guidelines for organizing the duties and responsibilities of the academic staff was held at Nimruz University

A seminar on the guidelines for organizing the duties and responsibilities of academic staff of public and private universities was held by the Faculty of Education at Nimruz University for the academic staff of that faculty.

This seminar was organized based on the directives of the respected leadership and in line with the proper implementation of educational principles, regulations, and policies, with the aim of providing greater clarity regarding the duties, authorities, and responsibilities of academic staff.

During the program, the presenters provided comprehensive information on the importance of clearly defining the duties of academic staff, the limits of their authorities, teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities, adherence to professional and ethical principles, compliance with applicable regulations, methods for evaluating academic activities, and the role of faculty members in enhancing the quality of education.

The seminar also emphasized faculty responsibilities in effective teaching, planning and implementing curricula, regular attendance, maintaining academic discipline, conducting scientific research, active participation in academic committees, and close collaboration with university administration. Additionally, the importance of commitment, professional integrity, adherence to Islamic principles, and national values in performing academic duties was discussed and reviewed.

In the concluding session, participating faculty members presented their questions, comments, and suggestions, which were addressed by the presenters with patience and thorough explanations.

It is noteworthy that this seminar was delivered by Pohanyar Shafiullah Wiar and Pohanyar Abdul Karim Barkzai, members of the academic staff of the Faculty of Education at this academic center.

The seminar was conducted in a scholarly and cordial atmosphere and concluded with prayers for success and blessings.
