Five-Day Capacity-Building Program on Academic and Professional Development Launched at Nimruz University

A five-day capacity-building program on academic and professional development, focusing on research methodology, the application of artificial intelligence in research, academic article writing, and the process of publishing articles in international journals, was launched at Nimruz University by the Professional Development Directorate for Faculty Members, in cooperation with the Directorate of Scientific Research of the university.

The program was inaugurated at the Professional Development Center of Nimruz University in the presence of the university’s leadership and a number of faculty members.

At the beginning of the program, Khaled Azizi, Head of the Professional Development Directorate for Faculty Members at Nimruz University, provided information about the objectives, significance, and contents of the program and emphasized the role of such programs in enhancing the academic and professional capacities of faculty members.

Following this, Mufti Bismillah Bassam, President of Nimruz University, expressed his appreciation to the presenters and his satisfaction with the organization of this training program. He encouraged the participants to make effective use of the opportunity provided to them.

He noted that such programs become effective when participants practically apply what they have learned in their work methods and academic activities. At the end of his remarks, he emphasized the importance of enhancing the academic capacities of faculty members and applying modern research methods.

It is worth mentioning that the presenters of the program include members of the academic staff of Helmand University, and the program is being conducted within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions.

The program will continue for five days and is being conducted with the aim of strengthening the academic and research skills of faculty members and creating opportunities for the use of modern research methods and the advancement of academic publications.
